Marianne Roasa is an analytical chemist who specializes in performing quantitative chemical analysis of various metal matrices and trace element analysis using ICP, WD-XRF, arc spark OES, and LECO combustion, as well as wet chemical methods to ASTM standards and customer specifications.
Prior to joining Anamet, Marianne was employed as a Lab Analyst at ChemTrace in Fremont, California.
B.S., Chemistry, Pacific Union College, 2014
Recent projects in which Marianne has been involved include:
- Method development for sample preparation and instrumentation analyses of steels, aluminum, titanium, nickel, zinc, and copper alloys by inductively coupled plasma spectroscopy, wavelength dispersive x-ray fluorescence (WD-XRF), optical emission spectroscopy, and LECO combustion determination for carbon, sulfur, nitrogen, and oxygen
- Determination of silica and sand in concrete using an ASTM oxide analysis procedure
